Jonathan Ferguson is an expert real estate agent with over five years of experience in real estate sales, rentals and property management. He began his career in banking at Scotiabank (Bahamas) Limited. At Scotiabank he held progressive roles including Senior Bank Teller, Collections Officer, Court Officer, Adjustor of Collections Recoveries in Repossession, Litigation and Power of Sale, Business Banking Officer and Business Banking Manager over a thirteen year period. He later transitioned to Wealth Management services holding the position of Operations Manager at Cotswold Corporate Services Limited. Jonathan has had an impressive career in banking and finance and his unique experiences have fashioned a diversely qualified individual in the areas of lending, securities, financial planning, business law and business agency.
In 2017, Jonathan ventured into entrepreneurship by establishing an equal partnership in a financial services and mortgage brokerage company named More Ways Financial Services. During this time he assisted with the facilitation of forming valuable partnerships with the major, local banking institutions as well as financial service providers. Moreover, this entity birthed a novel company in the Grand Bahama region of the Bahamas that has provided assisted financing to many residents for home and lot purchases, vehicle financing and debt consolidation.
Jonathan holds an Associate of the Bahamas Institute of Financial Services (ABIFS), Certified Banker (CIB), Certified in Credit & Collections I & II (CICC), and has a Certificate in International Wealth Management, obtaining his designations from the Bahamas Institute of Financial Services.
